This benefit is valid for the self-employed, liberal professions and SMEs/small companies (up to 50 employees, turnover < €11.25mio definition/info) and is still running until 31 December 2027.

PEPPOL, short for "Pan-European Public Procurement Online". It is a network, created by the European Commission, that enables companies and public administrations to exchange business documents, such as electronic invoices and orders, securely and efficiently. It has become an international standard.
By exchanging electronic messages worldwide through the Peppol network, your organisation will experience lower administration costs, faster payments, and fewer errors.
The UBL format stands for Universal Business Language. It is a standardised language for electronic invoices, designed to simplify the exchange of invoice data between different accounting systems.
Digital invoices in the UBL format are written in XML, which means they can be easily read and processed by computers and ERP systems without human intervention. This brings numerous benefits:
