Under Pat Van Roey's leadership, VanRoey has evolved over the past 30 years into a leading ICT service provider in Flanders, widely recognized for its technical expertise. The company is dedicated to supporting organizations with their ICT needs and offers a comprehensive range of managed services. To accelerate its annual growth rate of 10%, VanRoey secured a strategic investment from Fortino Capital in 2022. This investment enabled the opening of a new office in Houthalen-Helchteren, complementing the company's headquarters in Turnhout—featuring the innovative Kempus building —and its existing branches in Geel, Antwerp, and Mechelen. This expansion is part of Van Roey's strategy to further drive growth in the coming years by expanding its customer base and pursuing targeted acquisitions.
Recent studies indicate that companies have significant ICT needs, and CIOs plan to increase investments in security, automation, AI, and cost-saving solutions in 2024-2025. To address these trends and provide essential support, VanRoey has appointed Joachim Lauwers as its new CEO to guide the company into the future. He brings extensive experience in strategic and commercial leadership from his previous role as Managing Director Belgium at the cloud communications company Dstny, where he successfully led the company’s rapid growth in the Belgian market.
By forming strategic partnerships and leveraging local expertise, VanRoey aims to make its services more accessible to a wider range of clients. The company is dedicated to strengthening its position in the ICT sector and realizing its growth ambitions. To support these expansion plans, VanRoey is looking to add 35 new employees to its current team of 220.
