VanRoey.be donates 50 laptops to schools in Kempen

When in March the schools were forced to close due to the coronavirus COVID-19, many children undoubtedly jumped a hole in the sky. With the Easter holidays in sight, the study backlog initially seemed to be rather small. Now that the measures are also extended after the Easter holidays, a significant problem threatens. Many schools are therefore switching to a system of 'preteaching'. The discipline to plan these study moments consistently at home is one thing. Having at your disposal the right toolsbut it's a different story.

It is a fact that vulnerable families in our region are also affected by the strict measures. Pupils who do not have a computer at home cannot complete tasks at Smartschool. And in this way they fall further behind in learning.

To make sure no one falls out of the boat, put DigitalForYouth.be vzw (a project of DNS Belgium and Close the Gap) to collect 10,000 laptops for secondary education, an initiative to which VanRoey.be also wants to contribute.
